How in hell do you dream about copy propagation?

My brain was going back and forth between that and wandering around this macabre maze-like thing, trying not to get killed ...

I almost had the copy propagation figured out, too, and then my alarm went off. ::sigh::

New kernel (2.6.11-mm2) last night. wheeeeee! Was playing around with the nVidia framebuffer driver, but I couldn't get it to look sane on my laptop's DFP. ::sigh::

Oh yes, and did I mention ALSA's dmix is cool?

2.6.11-mm2 is working great on my fileserver since last night :-).
big performance improvements over 2.6.10-mm2.

.11-mm2 actually breaks PCMCIA for me, so I had to go back to .10-mm2. I know they changed it so you don't need cardmgr anymore, but it IS still supposed to work, and well, it doesn't. It likes to go into disk sleep and generally do nasty things to the system (instead of actually setting up my wireless card).

So, until I can figure out how to port all those pcmcia scripts to the new hotplug-fu (and make them work right), I'm sticking with .10-mm2.

How in hell do you dream about copy propagation?

Assuming that wasn't a rhetorical question...

Really, you can dream about anything that your mind can understand. You can be dreaming the image of a fluffy white bunny, and your brain just has to label that with the little link it has that directs it to its stored meaning of copy propogation, and the fluffy white bunny is copy propogation in your brain for the duration of the dream. This happens all the time in dreams. This is how a dream seems a complete story, with complex interconnections and backgrounds. This is how you know things in dreams that you really wouldn't in a real situation like that. There are no causality links in dreams.
