Allergies, Still...

I still have my wonderful allergies...I have no energy to do anything, and yet I have more to do this week than I've had in a long time.

I have a 215 lab, and a 219 project, both due Friday. In addition, I (perpetually) have 206 work which needs doing...yet what have I been doing tonight? Laying around in bed, or staring blankly at the laptop.

Thanks to Sudafed, I mostly don't notice any symptoms...I'm just really, really tired. LM and I called off our weekly beach excursion, because she was even worse than I was.

To top it all off, it's fscking hot today, compared to how it was last week. I wish it would cool down again.

I suggest you get down to the campus clinic and get the doc there to prescribe a med called Allegra for you. Explain that the over-the-counter antihistimines are gorking you, and you'd like to try some of the new modern allergy meds. The campus doc should be free, and if you ask, they might give you some free samples of Allegra. My doc does. Try the samples before you get the prescription filled. It works pretty well for me, and doesn't leave me like I was at Pismo beach that day.

I now have this interesting nose spray, which actually seems to work...and I have a prescription for Allegra which I need to get filled someplace where I have insurance coverage. The nose spray seems to be helping, though my throat is still a bit sore...

The nurse went to check to see if they had free Allegra samples, and they were all out. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, considering the number of people who were in there for allergy meds.
