So I have this window next to my desk (which, btw, is a corner desk), and every day at about this time, the sun shines through the little holes in the blinds right onto my monitor. It annoys me to no end.

I don't really have the option of moving the monitor because the keyboard tray is right underneath it (and it would be a royal bitch to try to move that). So I'm thinking of covering the window with something that I can put up/take down easily.

The question is what, and how? I'd rather not poke any holes in my walls (although I am allowed to poke little ones if I want), and I can't really rip out and replace the blinds.

grr.

Tinfoil? I'll have to give that a try ... thanks for the suggestion.

It's still probably something to be careful of ... it's a northwest-facing window which gets direct sunlight for most of the afternoon ... and in Atascadero, it regularly gets up to 100 in summer in the afternoons.
