I just discovered that KMail is once again arbitrarily deleting messages out of my IMAP folders. I got burned once before by a bug like this, filed a report, and it took them forever to fix it.

I still think KMail beats the pants off of clients like Evolution and Thunderbird in terms of UI, usability and features. But that really doesn't matter when Disconnected IMAP decides it's going to arbitrarily start deleting things it doesn't know anything about (but should, considering those emails have been in that folder for a long time...).

When are the KMail devs going to figure out that arbitrarily deleting user data is never an acceptable solution?
