It was a long, and crazy weekend. Why was it long and crazy? Simple...there was way too much to do, and not enough time to do it in. So, I will attempt to recount some of what happened. Or at least, the more memorable parts.

Friday: School. 205 coding. Went over to kion's house. Watched Requiem for a Dream, which was a damned good movie. Think maybe I'll buy it.

Saturday: Finally woke up and left Kevin's house at 3ish. There was a really nasty accident on 101 on the way home...I really, really hope nobody died. Stopped and offered a phone, but none was needed. Passenger window in the Jeep decided to break. Got home, took shower, did laundry. Drove back to Kevin's hose for Java-fu. Stayed up till 5 doing 205.

Sunday: Woke up at noon, went to Starbuck's. Saw C, who works there. He's apparently on that funky sleep schedule where you only require half-hour naps several times a day. Contemplating trying it myself, but don't think I'm brave enough to screw with my body/mind like that. Finally went home around 6, showered, moped, called parents, called Dazed, and went to bed.

Monday (Today): Came down early and dropped the car at Stanley to get the window fixed. The repair guy I always leave it with must think I'm abusive to the car or something...this is the third time in 3 months-ish that it's been in. I feel kinda badly about having to take it in so often, even though I know it's just normal wear.

I'm also thinking I'm going to apply for that MDS job as a Linux admin...it doesn't pay well, but it's only 10-15 hours a week, it's on campus, and it gives me a little extra money. Now, I just hope I can get it... /me crosses his fingers

  • A fresh start?

So I'm thinking of moving away from LJ. Every time I glance at my ad blocker, there are an uncomfortably-large number of advertising and tracking…

  • 2012: Ramp It Up

It’s that time of the year again -- another year has passed, and as usual, I don’t finish reflecting on it until the first 3 months of the following…
