A new record(?)

I actually don't remember what my old record uptime for deneb is...but this looks pretty damn close:

 00:03:29 up 41 days, 17:39,  3 users,  load average: 2.80, 2.00, 1.57

The high load average is because I'm currently compiling Mozilla in the background (for my new laptop, which I still haven't ordered yet).

One has to wonder, why your uptimes are so low... is rebooting deneb that often really needed?

Well, no, not really...but I like to play with newer (and hopefully more stable) kernels on occasion. Deneb has had some unfortunate incidents with nVidia drivers and PPPoE that are now mostly resolved.
